This Landscape Photography tour is for dedicated photographers only. Accessing waterfalls involves trekking, so bring strong determination. Stay hydrated and wear suitable gear. If weather or other factors require itinerary changes to protect participants' physical and mental well-being, the tour leader's decision is final—participants must comply, with no refunds issued. Let's embark with a resilient mindset and passionate spirit to capture stunning Meghalaya waterfall shots.
4. Logistics Support, Challenges, and Itinerary Details
As a Landscape Photography Workshop—not a leisure vacation—expect these realities:
Day-long drives to prime locations; nights prioritize Astro shots when possible, so rest during group-designated times (sleep may take a backseat).
Consistent group sleep/wake schedules optimize photography light; adhere strictly.
Room-sharing with fellow participants (often first-time meetings) is standard—embrace it sportingly.
Stays in unique spots mean basic homestays (e.g., floor mattresses, village linens)—the best available for photography access. Bring your own linen or sleeping bag if preferred.
Remote areas lack heaters; layer up or use warmers, as rooms stay reasonably warm.
Meals are simple, seasonal vegetarian/non-vegetarian fare based on local availability, decided by terrain-savvy travel partners.
Monsoon unpredictability (e.g., roadblocks, landslides) may alter the itinerary—be prepared for omissions or additions beyond our control.
Set realistic expectations for this challenging, photography-focused tour. Non-compliance with rules, negativity toward leaders or support, or disrupting the group leads to warnings and expulsion without refund. Join with positivity to thrive in Landscape Photography.
5. Tour Rules and Protocols
Group leaders in the Tempo Traveller decide photography stops. Window shots are fine, but disembarking requires their approval.
Stick to announced time limits for shoots (e.g., 10 minutes means back in 10); extensions granted as needed for quality captures.
Follow group leaders' wake/sleep times—you're responsible for punctuality to catch optimal light like sunrise/sunset.
Avoid blocking shots; let others finish before taking your turn on the same scene.
Resolve conflicts via tour organizers, not directly.
For logistics, contact hotel helpdesks or travel partners first; escalate to organizers if needed.
No littering—dispose of waste properly (e.g., no plastic bottles/wrappers left behind).
You're responsible for your gear (cameras, lenses, tripods, cards); damage to Nikon India equipment incurs full participant cost.
Attend evening review sessions; accept feedback constructively to improve.
Embrace unconventional travel/accommodations focused on photography; no tolerance for disruptive complaints.
Solo ventures from the group are at your risk—organizers aren't liable.
No personal sightseeing; this is a dedicated Landscape Photography tour.
Skipped spots due to uncontrollable factors (e.g., weather) get alternatives; extra costs are yours.
6. Minimum/Maximum Participants and Minimum Not Met
Minimum: 6 participants. If not met, the tour proceeds with an additional per-participant cost.
7. Emergency Departures
No refunds for early departures. Participants cover return transport to Guwahati and their home.

DSLR/Mirrorless camera + wide/telephoto lenses
Tripod
Long-exposure filters (ND10, ND1000, polarizer)
Memory cards
Shutter release remote
L-bracket (for verticals/panoramas)
Not all required—basics (camera, lenses, tripod) suffice for golden/blue hour and Astro learning; add filters/remote for long exposures. Welcome photographers, artists, and sightseers who respect the pace:
No fee discounts.
Tours move slowly for artistic stops—non-artists must adapt patiently.

Basic fitness for daily activities. Mostly driving, but waterfall access needs trekking up/down wet jungles—be prepared physically. Manage your medications (bring extras); carry personal medical/first-aid kits. Disclose pre-existing conditions/disabilities to staff. Rest/recover at your body's pace if needed.
11. Suitable Age Group and Children
Ideal for adults appreciating photography/art focus. Children only if they match the pace and respect artists—no one under 15 due to altitude and intensity.
12. Use of Participant Photos/Art for Promotion
Yes—booking grants thEscape rights to use your images/artwork (with credit) on our website/social media.
13. Grounds for Expulsion
Misconduct (e.g., distressing others, property damage, sexual harassment) results in immediate removal without refund—you cover return costs. Leader's decision final to protect the group. Respect staff/drivers/support; warnings precede expulsion for repeats. Strict no-misbehavior-under-alcohol policy—maintain discipline, avoid negativity.
14. Odd Male/Female Ratio in Twin Sharing
Organizers provide the best solution; opposite-sex sharing never occurs.
15. Mobile Connectivity
Spotty in Meghalaya—Airtel/Jio works best.
