I have done all the 3 Landscape Photography Tours organized by thEscape. For Zanskar, it of the most adventurous and thrilling trips I have taken so far. 14 days camping trip exploring and photographing the raw & exotic landscapes of Zanskar with some amazing facilities - the best experience anyone can ask for.
I would like to thank Nilakkhya for not just organizing this amazing trip, but also being one of the most amazing photography mentors throughout this tour.
Also, I would like to thank Tanay Das for being so patient with me and spending endless hours to teach me nightscape photography, something that was completely new to me.
For Kashmir, what caught my attention was the raw & offbeat places in the itinerary (some of the names I heard for the 1st time). This trip gave me a chance to visit some of the most raw, offbeat and at the same time, most scenic locations of Kashmir.
Not just traveling to such exotic locations & photographing these landscapes was great, but the photography mentorship from Nilakkhya and Sanak Roy Chaudhary was amazing. I would like to thank Nilakkhya for organizing this photo tour and sharing your photography knowledge. Special thanks to Sanak for being such an amazing mentor throughout the tour!!!
For Pangi Miyar and Lahaul, it was my third tour with thEscape and I got to explore some offbeat lands of Himachal Pradesh and carry out my passion for photographing landscapes. Some of the images clicked by me are shown here

"My Kashmir Landscape photography tour with thEscape was the first one and the moment I read about the tour, unseen/unexplored places in the tour and entire itinerary, I knew that its going to be a special one which truly proved it ! Methodical arrangement, good logistics, carefully chosen places which were untouched and possibly unheard of by many such as Gurez, Bungus and Lolab valley, almost near the LOC in Kashmir made the tour an excellent one ! Personal care was taken by the thEscape team of each participant in the entire tour and of course we returned with some great landscape images of these beautiful places ! This first experience itself was so good that we both instantly booked their winter Kashmir and Ladakh tour ! I am sure it will also bring in great experience of places seen in winter beauty ! "Kashmir tour during Autumn color season by thEscape" was my first tour and though it was essentially a landscape photography tour, I was possibly the only non photographer clicking with my cell phone. But the entire team of thEscape and all participants always cheered up and inspired me to click the landscapes of beautiful and largely unexplored locations with my cell. Till now I was always in front of camera to get clicked whenever possible and this time I was behind it to see the unadulterated Nature through the lens ! Whole team always took care with great arrangements in the entire itinerary which made group of participants a very cohesive one ! I learnt so many things of photography from this tour apart from witnessing some pure untouched places in Kashmir ! This first experience of the thEscape tour tempted me to join their winter tour of Kashmir and Ladakh and possibly now I will be there with DSLR !! Shown are some of my mobile captures.

Hi..I'am Dr. Sandeep Jain practicing orthopedic surgeon based at Bhopal. I believe to shoot in all genres of photography but I am more inclined towards landscape shooting. So I came to know about thEscape tours. It is just impossible to describe the specialities of entire tour in limited words because that is a experience to earn when you become part of this tour. The courtesy, the stay, conveyance, site selection, duration of stay at a particular place, the mentorship....and there are 'n' number of features which you find exclusive in this tour. The most contrasting aspect of the tour is food....the quality and variety of food which you get at a place where getting water is difficult....Oh My God.. Awesome...and that too at a price which you would say later that how is it possible to arrange so much in such low budget. Everything is personally monitored and taken care by Nilakkhya and his team full of hospitality. I definitely wish to be part of another tour conducted by thEscape.
