Gourmet Dining Throughout: State-of-the-art meals with vegetarian options majorly during the trek. Homestay dining on Day 1/11; on-trek, a dedicated makeshift kitchen with professional chef, cook, and helpers serves breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner—from Dinner on Day 1 to Breakfast on Day 12—complete with all cutlery and kitchen tent.

Detailed Itinerary Day Wise
8th Aug - Day -1 (Saturday) - Arrival at Jammu and transfer of participants in cabs/tempo traveler to Gulabgarh (300 kms) by evening. We expect the participants to book the flights reaching max by 9:30 AM to Jammu so that we can reach Gulabgarh by evening and rest for the night in Hotel/HomeStay.
9th Aug - Day -2 (Sunday) - Trek start - Gulabgarh to Dangail.
10th Aug - Day -3 (Monday) - Dangail to Bhujwas Camp.
11th Aug - Day -4 (Tuesday) - Bhujwas Camp to Cerro Kishtwar Base Camp.
12th Aug - Day -5 (Wednesday) - Cerro Kishtwar Base Camp exploration.
13th Aug - Day -6 (Thursday) - Retrace back to Bhujwas Camp.
14th Aug - Day -7 (Friday) - Bhujwas Camp to Hagshu Valley Camp I.
15th Aug - Day -8 (Saturday) - Hagshu Camp I to Chiring/Hagshu Base Camp.
16th Aug - Day -9 (Sunday) - Traverse back to Bhujwas Camp via an alternate route.
17th Aug - Day -10 (Monday) - Traverse back to Dangail from Bhujwas camp.
18th Aug - Day -11 (Tuesday) - Dangail to Gulabgarh and rest in Guest House.
19th Aug - Day -12 (Wednesday) - After Breakfast, drop to Jammu by 4PM.
Note - Though July and August are monsoon months and not much conducive for Astro Photography, but we have chosen this time for doing this tour because we will get a lot of wildflowers during this time. Getting a clear window some time in the night, will help us get our Astro Images. It also might be a case, that we get closed or broken roads, cloudy weather, snowfall and hence we will improvise on the plan and change the itinerary as required by changing routes or by incorporating a new place. Participants willing to join should keep in mind the above points before signing up and should come with an open outlook towards the same. No refund or Negative Talks about the same will be entertained during the course or after the completion of the tour.

Extra food or beverages (soft or hard; we avoid and do not recommend hard drinks at high altitudes, with no alcohol permitted during the trek).

1. Payment Terms and Booking Procedure
Booking Amount: Rs. 15,000 + 5% GST (Rs. 500) = Rs. 15,750 at the time of confirmation.
Final Payment: Rs. 47,000 + 5% GST (Rs. 2350) = Rs. 49,350, due 45 days before departure (by 23rd June, 2026).
All quoted prices include 5% GST and are subject to change if the GST rate is altered by government order. Invoices will be issued for each payment.

2. What is the cancellation/refund policy?
45+ days prior (by June 23, 2026): 50% advance refund.
30-45 days prior (June 23 - July 8): No advance refund.
<30 days or no final payment: No refund (full or advance).
Organizer cancellation (e.g., COVID, or <5 participants): Full refund (no flight cost refund—book flexible tickets).
Late payments forfeit seat/advance (transferable if replacement found). GST non-refundable. Refunds processed by Sep 19, 2026.
3. Precautions for Trekking and Photography
This Landscape Photography Trek requires mental and physical strength. Prior trekking experience is preferred but not mandatory (no technical skills needed). Physical fitness is strictly required due to high altitude.
Porters will carry up to 10kg per participant, allowing photographers to manage only camera bags and tripods while moving at a comfortable pace. With strong hospitality from travel partners, participants can succeed and capture great images. Mental strength and fitness are essential—"If there is a WILL, there is a WAY."
Monsoon weather is unpredictable; the tour leader may alter the itinerary for safety, with their decision final. No refunds apply.
4. Logistics Support, Difficulty, and Itinerary Flexibility
This is a Photography Workshop focused on Landscape and Astro Landscape Photography—not leisure travel. Expect:
Full-day travels prioritizing locations; nights for astro photography (sleep secondary—rest when scheduled).
Adherence to group sleep/rise times for optimal light.
Room/tent sharing with strangers (twin/triple sharing possible for warmth in offbeat areas).
All trek stays in tents (wilderness camping); dry toilets (pit in ground) in toilet tents.
Basic vegetarian food (menu decided by partners based on terrain/availability).
Sub-zero temperatures during night astro shoots—dress accordingly.
Itinerary changes (skips/adds) due to roadblocks, weather, etc., with no refunds.
Keep expectations aligned with the tour's photography focus. Non-adherence creating negativity may result in a warning and expulsion without refund. Join with an open mindset.
5. Tour Rules and Protocols
Cab stoppages for photography decided by leaders; window shots allowed, but exits timed strictly (e.g., 10 minutes max). Ample time ensured.
Adhere to group rise/sleep times—miss them, miss opportunities (no responsibility taken).
Respect frames: Allow others to finish shots before taking the same spot.
Resolve issues via leaders; no quarrels.
Use hotel/travel partner helpdesks first, then leaders.
No littering—carry waste to proper disposal.
Handle your gear responsibly; damage to Nikon India equipment incurs full cost.
Accept evening image reviews sportingly.
No alcohol on trek.
Delays in meals/tent setup possible in offbeat areas—accept positively to maintain group spirit.
Solo deviations from group at own risk.
No personal tourist visits—this is a photography tour.
Skips due to uncontrollable factors (e.g., roadblocks): Best alternatives provided; extra costs on participants.
6. Minimum/Maximum Participants
Minimum: 5. If not met, tour proceeds with increased cost per participant.
7. Mid-Trip Departure Due to Emergency
No refund. Participant bears return transport costs to Jammu and destination.
8. Recommended Photography Equipment
DSLR/mirrorless camera with wide/telephoto lenses, tripod, filters (ND10, polarizer for long exposures), memory cards, shutter release remote, L-bracket (for verticals/panos).
Basics suffice for golden/blue hour and astro learning (camera, lenses, tripod). Extra batteries essential (uncertain power; keep warm on body). Extension board helpful. Painters/writers: Bring kits (notebooks, pens, canvas, colors).
9. Non-Photographer/Companion Participation
Welcome for sightseeing, alongside photographers/artists, but: No fee reduction. Respect artists' slow pace and stops.
10. Fitness Requirements
Minimum fitness for Himalayan travel and 6-7 hour treks. No altitude-triggering ailments. Carry medications/first aid; notify staff of conditions/disabilities. Pace yourself responsibly.
11. Age Restrictions and Children
Best for those understanding the artistic pace. No children under 15 due to high altitude and focus.
12. Use of Participant Photos/Art
By booking, you grant thEscape rights to use your images/art (with credits) on website/social media.
13. Organizer's Right to Cancel Participation
Misbehaviour (distress to others, property damage, sexual harassment), foul language to staff, alcohol misconduct, or negativity: Warning first, then expulsion without refund. Participant bears return costs. Leader's decision final. Zero tolerance.
14. Odd Male/Female Ratios in Sharing
Best solution provided; no opposite-sex twin sharing.
15. Mobile Connectivity
None during trek; available till Gulabgarh.
16. Tour Team
Nilakkhya (photography partner), tour leader, and support staff.
17. Psychotropic Substances, Alcohol, Smoking
Drugs strictly prohibited—immediate expulsion if found. Smoking OK if non-disruptive (check with roommate). Alcohol only at hotels, in moderation; none on trek.
18. Additional Terms and Conditions
This photography tour requires flexibility—itinerary is a guideline. Not liable for delays (flights, strikes, regulations, weather). Provide alternatives mutually; extra costs on participants.
No-show at Jammu by 10AM on 8th Aug, 2025: Treated as cancellation, no refund. Pricing subject to revision (efforts made to hold rates); confirmed bookings not increased for minor hikes.
Medical/insurance recommended. Fixed dates—no changes. No photos at restricted checkpoints; carry Govt. IDs. Deposit signed indemnity bond and show Aadhaar pre-trip.
You assume risks (accidents, illness, instability, nature) to the extent permitted by Indian law.
